Zylo Therapeutics: Life Sciences Start-Up

During my consulting engagement with Zylo, a life sciences start-up, I played a role in supporting the spin-out of their new consumer med company. This involved conducting extensive research and analysis to identify potential market opportunities and competitive threats in order to develop a strategic product roadmap that aligned with their overall business goals. 

I analyzed the market landscape and identified key trends and drivers that were shaping the industry to support our thesis as to which disease profile to target first. We then conducted a competitive analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of Zylo's competitors and how they were positioning themselves in the market. Given their innovative technology and lack of 1:1 competition in the market, it was important that we also considered ecosystem partners and how we might approach partnerships to maintain defensibility. Using this information, we were able to identify areas of opportunity and develop a strategic product roadmap that would enable Zylo to differentiate itself from the competition.
